Happy 2nd Birthday M4M!!!

We're still celebrating at Mad for Markers - In fact, we'll be celebrating all month long!.

As part of the celebrations I challenged myself to make sure that I've used all my Rs and RVs on some card that I've blogged (so I can justify getting more!!) as well as once again trying to colour a monochromatic image (just Rs and RVs).

This darling image is from the TGF Roll Call set which I love because each stamp can have such a different character and at $5 per image it's a bargin :-)

Colouring with R's and RV's once more.

Hello everyone!
Today i am going to share with you a cute little birthday card i made using the Balloon Kaylee stamp from Some odd girl,and as it is Mad 4 Markers birthday this month its perfect timing!

If you like the stamp you can purchase it at Mad 4 Markers.

I wanted to also use my new Fiskars Border punch with this card as i got the punch hot from USA and is not getting released here in Australia (so i was REALLY excited when it arrived.) The punch went well with the birthday theme and as we are all celebrating Mad 4 Markers 2nd birthday why not use it!

So i coloured Kaylee as you can see above used an array of different RV'S and other colours.
These is the Copics i used.

Then i created a background with my Border punch and some patterned paper. If you would like to see how i made the background you can by going to the Fiskars blog.
Then i used some My Favorite Things die-namic dies for the pink label and word 'party'  and adhered it all together.
The combo of bright RV's work really well together with the paper and really do make Kaylee pop!

R or RV Markers Challenge

This whole month Mad for Markers is running the challenge to use your R and RV copics. Well I think this week I have had a break-through with mine....I am no longer scared of my red copics! Before now I just could not use them without awful bleeding and results I was far from happy with! Simply Anya has changed that for me!

Syren ~ Creeper Mermaid ~ in RVs

 Good Morning Copic Lovers,

I hope you have a lovely weekend planned : )

I have a card to share today that I have made for our current R and RV colour challenge.  I have coloured in Syren and you can buy her here at the Mad for Markers Store.  She is fun to colour.  I find her hair the most challenging bit.

I coloured her with....

Hair: 100, C-7, C-5

Skin: E00, E11, E04

Pinks: RV23, RV21, RV34, RV29

These papers I am just in love with and I am quickly working my way through this Echo Park Be Mine Pad.  If you like them to you should hop on over to my blog and enter my candy.  This paper pad is part of the candy!  I also used some lace, a swirl die cut some pins, soft tulle, pink ribbon, gem stones and a black flower to decorate.

I am entering a couple of challenges and all that info is on my blog.

Pretty In Pink

That use to be one of my favourite movies when I was growing up. I was never a girly girl but for some reason I just loved that movie and all the pink.

So we are continuing our current challenge this month with a little bit of pink. Your challenge this month is to use your RV or R Copic Markers to create something. It can be anything you like, as long as you use your Copic markers on it.

I have used a very cute La-La Land image. I have had her for a little while but I never get tired of colouring her. She is rather simple to colour but there are so many different things you can do with her skirt.

You can see all the cute La-La Land stamps available in the shop. There are so many to choose from and they just keep getting cuter and cuter. I can't wait to get my hands on some that were released at CHA recently.
