Good morning all Copic Lovers.
Before I do the regular Monday Morning post I just wanted to take the time to remember what today is all about. It seems this year Anzac Day has been a little forgotten because of all the hype from being so close to Easter but it should be remembered for what it is,. A day where we all can be thankful for what we have. For living in a free country where we can have our say and walk the streets knowing that there is little conflict around our immediate selves.
They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted.
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget.....................................
So now onto our daily post. The current challenge here on the blog is to use Copic Markers from the colour families YR, RV and BG. Sounds pretty easy, but there are sooooo many combinations you can choose to use, your options are pretty endless..........
I chose a CC Designs stamp that I haven't used before. I am trying to get out all my stamps that haven't been inked yet and use them before I indulge in some more.......... That's the plan anyway..........
I added some Flourish with a bling and some pearls to create the underwater scene I was looking for.
Copic Used:
BG10, BG11, BG13.
RV91, RV93, RV95.
YR12, YR16, YR20, YR23, YR30.
E13, E15, E17, E18, E50.
These cards are great because once folded they are 4"x6" in size and you can stamp straight onto the card.
Make sure you check back here each day for some great inspiration from the Design Team.
There is so much going on at the moment including a DT call and some exciting things happening with the blog.
Thanks for Dropping Bye
Mel B
