A Bit Of Spooky Fun!!!!!!

>> Monday, October 31, 2011

Hello to all our Copic lovers in Blog land........

Mel B here today with a new challenge for you. This fortnight I thought we would pay tribute to all our American followers out there. Even though I live in Australia I love the thought of Halloween. I remember as a little girl having a halloween party and visiting all our neighbours (who had already been pre warned by my mother) and going trick or treating.

So this challenge I would like to see you use your Orange and Black to create something. remember it doesn't have to be a card.

This month I have made a little Trick or Treat bag. I have used one of the cute new La La Land stamps.

I have teamed it up with some spooky papers and some cobwebs (cotton balls). I also used a Martha Stewart punch complete with it's own little bats.
How cute does this little bag look!!!!!!!

Copics Used;
YR12, 14, 21, 23, 24.
N0, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9.
G94, 99.
BV02, 04, 08.
E000, 00.

So why not give it a go this month. Let your spooky imagination run wild. The prize this month is a Guest Design Spot right here at Mad For Markers!!!!!!!

Check out the shop also, as of this month we have the cute little images used in the colouring books available as digital downloads, so now there is no excuse for not having enough images to colour.

Check back each day to see what the Design team come up with, I am sure there is going to be some fantastic creations!!!

Thanks for Dropping bye

A Bit Of Christmas

>> Monday, October 24, 2011

Good morning all and welcome to another week full of great colouring inspirations.
This week we are following the wonderful sketch by Susan.

I decided to start making my Christmas cards. I don't normally make then but I thought this year I would make some for the family and I have made a little pocket on the inside of the card for something to be slipped into it like a scratchy or something.

I found this cut little poinsettia flower on a blog and thought I would colour it in. I have cut out a few extra petals and 3D them on top to give a little more dimension to the card.

Copics Used:
R35, 37, 39.
G94, 99.

You still have a couple of days to get your own creations completed and linked to the sit for your chance to win a prize. Remember you don't have to make a card either, as long as you have used your Copic Markers on it, it can be anything you like, a card, a tag, a layout, an OTP. Anything you can think of so why not get colouring.

Thanks for dropping bye.

Princess Marci

>> Saturday, October 22, 2011

Hi Copic Lovers,

So lovely to be posting another card for Susan's Sketch today.  For this card I used Princess Marci which Sammi has in stock and can be purchased here.

I really loved using this sketch and found the card came together easily.  I added a little posy of flowers in the corner and sprayed them with Glimmer mist.  I embossed the silver card and then used Kindy Glitz over the top of the swirls.  It ended up being a very sparkly card.

The colours I used to colour were:
Hair: E47, E37, E35, E33
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, R20
Blues: B05, BG05, B02, B00
Greys: C0, C1, C3
Lips: R22, R32

You still have a week to enter this challenge.
So what are you waiting for?
Link up your card or LO for us all to see.

Happy Colouring,
Alicia xx

Susan's Sketch

>> Tuesday, October 18, 2011

Good morning copic lovers it is Bron here today to share with you my card using Susan's gorgeous sketch

I used my new Some Odd Girl Christmas Stamp that I got through Sammi last week. These are such cute stamps and they are fun to colour. My kids LOVED my card as it is bright and a bit funky rather than the normal sweet...The blue around him is perhaps not so bright IRL and for some reason it looks a bit smudgy where the blue meets the grey....

I changed the sentiment section for the bell & then used a sentiment where Susan had made aplace for embellies. That is what I love about sketches it is up to your interpretation...

I have used quite a few copics so brace yourself for my long list:

BG000,BG15, BG9 & BG11
G05, G02, G00 & G000
R59, R46 & R35
E21,E11,E29,E35,E33, E31,E00, E000
YR17,YR15, YR23

Looking forward to seeing all your entries...

Thanks for stopping by today....
