One for my girl!

We are already a couple of weeks in our 'One for the Girls' Challenge here at Mad for Markers and my card is for my daughter who is turning the big 10 on this coming Thursday.  This will be a sad but happy day...she will be into those double digits; not sure where the time with my baby has gone!

I should tell you that this card nearly didn't get finished, as during the process of making it I spilled a full cup of tea all over my craft desk and to some miracle the card was the only thing that did not wear it!

Also my daughter is always telling me to "stop putting things on it or you'll ruin it" so I have not gone overboard with the flowers and embellies on this one!

Autumn Forest Friend Fairy

Our challenge this month is an Autumn leaves photo inspiration.

 

 

Here is my card for this month.  I don't know what happened with the layout of this card...my next Autumn card will be much better..I hope.

I used Some Odd Girl digi - Forest Friend Fairy I think she is super cute but I am not a big fan of Autumn colours.  She is coloured with these copics (I forgot to write these down when I coloured her, so I am guessing I used-

Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20,

Clothes and wings YR18, YR15, YR12, YR00 and most likely E31, E25, E19

Bird Y15, Y13, Y11

Hair E33,E25, E19, E08, E09 (I think)

Tropical Mae coloured with Ys

Well I am running a little late, I had trouble uploading photos for some reason. I adore this Tropical Mae digi image from Some Odd Girl. Mad for Markers stocks a selection of some odd girl clear stamps which you can find here. My idea of a holiday is anywhere tropical and warm.

I have had this image coloured for a while and hadn't put the card together. She has been coloured with copics on x-press it blending card which are all available over at Mad for Markers store.
